September 3, IFIF public relation- On the sidelines of the 11th Silk Road Mayor Forum, Expediency Council member Ali Akbar Velayati said Iran is positive about the plan to revive the Silk Road.

Noting the close foreign policies between Iran and China, Velayati stated that Iran is eager to boost the economic and political cooperation with China.

Revival of the Silk Road will provide China with the opportunity to become a global number one economic power which is welcomed by Iran.
